PILATES: Everybody benefits from Pilates. Pilates is a low impact exercise that increases core strength, flexibility, conditioning, and overall sense of peace which helps manage stress. The practice of Pilates is for men and women regardless of your current level of fitness. It enhances your posture, balance, endurance, and improved muscle tone just to name a few of the takeaways from this class. Moving with intention helps connect your mind to what the body is doing. If you are rehabbing from an injury or are very active but want to feel better and prevent injuries this class will change how your body functions. Pilates utilizes all the small muscles to provide support to the larger ones when needed to stabilize and strengthen your spine and accomplish more power while reducing injuries. As you increase and discover how much more your body can do.
