Meet Donna Cupinski, owner of DMC Graphics in Shavertown

In the 4th grade I discovered that I had artistic talent and it has served me well my entire life. I

never really thought of owning a business, but in 1994 an opportunity presented itself. While

working for a local printer, he announced he was looking to retire and offered for me to take

things over. Although at first things didn’t go smoothly, I developed my own niche, my own

clients and utilized my work ethic to build DMC Graphics – now 30 years strong!

I’ve operated my business in Hanover Township, Wilkes-Barre and now in Shavertown. I enjoy

doing business with my neighbors and friends! In this time when the internet makes our lives

arguably easier to shop online, doing business locally allows people to actually see and feel the

paper or wearables they want printed. Having lived in the Back Mountain nearly my entire life, I

think it’s important for all of us to give back to our community. For me, there’s a special thrill

when I see someone wearing a shirt I designed and printed!

I joined the Chamber because I feel it is the premier way to introduce my business to the

community! For many years I have volunteered locally because I have wanted to see our area

grow and prosper. In a spin off the Chamber’s motto - I’m the little printer with a big heart! I’d

enjoy meeting you to work together on your next printing project. When you go by Burger King,

look for me on your right where you can see the big star at night!
