Dallas Kiwanis Annual Halloween Party & Parade
Kiwanis Club of Dallas PA will hold its annual Halloween Party and Parade for children - day care through middle school - on Sunday, October 23, 2022, in the Dallas Little League Field parking area, located on Church Street, Dallas, PA. This is a rain or shine event. Dress appropriately for weather conditions in the outdoor Parade. Registration and entertainment by Charlie Hayes begin at 1 P. M. Individuals and groups will be judged at 2 P. M., during the Parade.
12 P. M. - Costume Baseball Game (optional participation)
1 P. M. - Costume Registration and Entertainment
2 P. M. - Parade/Party/Awarding of Prizes
In the event of inclement weather, the parade and judging will move inside the Back Mountain. Regional Fire Station 121, located at the intersection of 184 East Center Hill Road and Church Street, Dallas, PA 18612 (across from the Dallas Little League Field). NOTE: For indoor activities, masks are required for all attendees.
12 P. M. - Costume Baseball Game: Once registered, children will be invited to participate in a variety of activities, including a baseball game played in costume on the Little League field (Pre-registration for the game is required by clicking on the online link: https://forms.gle/
Children will, also, be treated to a visit from some Disney and movie "characters" and other great surprises! Prizes: Monetary prizes will be awarded for the top three winners in each of the six costume categories: Funniest, Most Original, Prettiest, Scariest, Miscellaneous, and Best Group (Best Group category must have 3+ participants.). Light refreshments will be available and goodie bags distributed for the children. Tickets will be sold for additional raffle gift prizes.
For over 60 years, Dallas Kiwanis Club has hosted this amazing annual Halloween event in the Back Mountain for area youths. Bring your children and come join the fun!
